ihi there.
there are several rumors surfacing on the internet about us. the only one that is true is that i have a foot fetish.
sorry. i had to. anyway, the point of this update is to dispel the popular belief that ache/emelie is broken up. there, i said it
ACHE/EMELIE has not broken up.
it's true. we currently do NOT have a drummer, second guitar player, or violinist, and i would encourage ANYONE that thinks they might fit any of those needs to contact me on aim or by phone. both of which can be found on other parts of this page.
brad, lauren, myself, and even our little frontman ari quinn are very serious about getting back out there and playing shows and making more music for ourselves and hopefully others to enjoy.
in the meantime, we are going to be finishing the acoustic EP that got put on the back-burner while we were trying out new drummers and starting to play some more shows here and there. some of them, we may be able to have our friends fill in on drums, and some of them will be acoustic. i think that people will have a good time either way.
i'd also like to thank everyone that has continued to show their support even since we've been inactive. it really means a lot, especially so since this inactivity has been very discouraging. i thank you all sincerely.
if you're still reading this, then i'd like to thank you again, and mention that the 7" that was meant to be released by leaves records in england has been postponed due the labels finance problems. the deal is, we need about $400 to get it out from the pressing plant so we can release it ourselves. to help us do that, anything anyone could purchase from our merch will get us that much closer and we'd really appreciate it tons. we have new shirts and we still have lots of stickers, pins, CD's and patches as well. you can find out how to buy it
