A Chance Without is an amazingly energetic rock band out of Seattle, Washington. To classify them into a category or genre would be a mistake, as the group takes inspiration from so many forms of music and art. The result is a band capable of writing unique, heartfelt, and catchy songs, backed by an awe inspiring live show. On stage the group makes it a point to involve everyone in the audience through crazy acrobatics, dueling guitar solos, three to four part harmony choruses, and up close and personal interaction with the crowd.

To A Chance Without, putting out quality music, giving an amazing live performance, and being easily accessible and interested in their fans go hand in hand. They understand the importance of keeping people coming back to their shows, and make it a point to meet as many people as possible. After a performance, members of the band will walk through the venue, introduce themselves to people, and ask them what they thought about the performance. Making a personal connection with the audience gives the fans a face and a personality to tie to the band, allowing the fans to enjoy the music even more.

By constantly playing memorable shows with various bands such as Aiden, Chiodos, This Providence, On the Last Day, Wheatus, and Fall From Grace, as well as playing at Warped Tour 2006 and headlining at the the Showbox and El Corazon in Seattle, the band has developed a strong and loyal following. Many touring bands have commented on the bands musicianship and talent, as well as their ability to get a crowd excited and involved with their music.

The members of A Chance Without share a unique bond together. They drive one another to become the most complete and versatile musicians possible. When they are not playing or practicing together, they are spending time with each other.

On September 29th, 2006, A Chance Without released their debut album "A Long Time Coming," produced by Nick Kristoffersen, along with a few tracks by Casey Bates (This Providence, Gatsbys American Dream, Daphne Loves Derby, etc). The album itself is the perfect blend of energy and melody, focused on blurring the lines between genres. Within the songs lie layered subtleties of metal, pop, southern rock, classic rock, blues, hardcore, and punk.

They recently recorded an EP of brand new material to showcase their growth both as songwriters and performers. Boasting an eclectic mix of memorable songs, it is sure to take them to to territories that they have yet to reach. A rough demo from the album is currently up.
