Absit is ready for 2007 and will overpower the audience with blasting beats, screaming guitars and gutteral vocals. Don't forget the earth shaking bass guitar that keeps it all nice and cozy. This will be the year for Absit so catch them while you can and as always support local music!

2007 holds one big change already as Absit is in pursuit of a new guitar to replace the original guitarist Giovanni Guisto. Rick Lozano remains as the solo entity and is doing a great job, but we will be adding a second guitar player shortly. Absit has been involved in many big events acrossed the state including The Bodog Battle of the Bands where we took our selves to the semi-finals at The Key Club in Hollywood. We also made it to the semi-finals in the Emergenza Music Festival which Absit will be involved in staring April 28th right here in Fresno at The Crossroads. Absit also one the Battle for Manfest which was hosted by KRZR so Absit at this time is still considered the top metal band in Fresno and arguably the best band in the area.

Lee Tabor has been a big part in the promotion and production of Absit not only playing an active role in the band musically, but by building and maintaining the official site www.absitmetal.com as well as a local and global Myspace which we have 8,000 + friends. We have also played with Nonpoint, Taproot, Hinder, Theory of a Deadman, Faction, Metal Church, Apiary, The Concubine. Venues that Absit has played included 12 Galaxies (SF), The Red Devil Lounge (SF), The Roxy (Hollywood), The Key Club (Hollywood) and Club Retro in (Sacramento).
