Absence Of The Sacred (AOTS) was formed in mid-February 2005 to satiate the need for speed, groove and intensity. AOTS is a constantly evolving entity in terms of song composition and technicality, however retaining it's relentless brutality and melodic sensibilities.

We are currently working on releasing either an MCD or a full-length independently. Finances and time constraints are definitely factors in this decision. We might be taking part in Metal Wars II in March, but that will be tentative for now.
