"Abrupt Edge finds passion in yearning vocal harmonies and crashing waves of ocean-size guitar. Glossy kiss-the-sky anthems such as "Change" and "Born" would be right at home on your favorite active rock radio station." -Michael Deeds. Formed in 2001, Abrupt Edge began a memorable journey that has taken them through countless shows ranging from frat house parties, to stadium shows with well known national bands. They've had bass drums kicked in during basement mosh pits, been shut down by the police, and nearly had the band van crushed by a semi (and didn't miss the show). All of these experiences, along with a lot of hard work and a lot of fun go into the music Abrupt Edge creates. The music is driven by live energy and the lyrics are inspired by life's experiences. From relationships in "Let Me Go", or "As Fake As It Gets" to dealing with death in "Goodbye Till Then". Their head bobbing verses and sing-along choruses and a killer live show that brings the songs to life has earned Abrupt Edge the right to share the stage with bands like Seether, Sick Puppies, Shinedown, Theory Of A Deadman, Hurt, In this Moment, Red, Earshot, Egypt Central, Hawthorne Heights, Buck Cherry, The Exies, Smile Empty Soul, Alien Ant Farm, City Sleeps, Royal Bliss, and Seven Mary Three. Abrupt Edge recently released a new full length cd titled "Goodbye Till Then" which is getting regular play on several regional radio stations. Writing, recording, and performing their music, is what the members of Abrupt Edge love to do, and they look forward to sharing it
