A Brighter Day, a rock band from the city of Helmond (The Netherlands), was founded in 2002.
Four guys, who already knew each other from school and various bands, play rock music, straight from the heart!
From powerful rock songs to subtle ballads, their repertoire covers all. One moment they play an explosive set at pop stage Plato (Helmond, The Netherlands), the other moment they are performing an acoustic set on a Dutch radio channel.
Their lyrics are as versatile as the music they play. The profound lyrics of songs like 'United' and 'Hero' point out their opinion about war and injustice in the world. The song 'Good Girls' criticises perfectly moulded pop artists like Britney Spears, whereas the lyrics of 'S.T.U.' show the sensitive and vulnerable side of the band.
A Brighter Day's first demo CD 'Two Lane Freedom' was recorded in 2004 and includes the songs 'Fall', 'S.T.U', and the title song 'Two Lane Freedom'.

Their demo CD, enthusiasm and hard work have resulted in gigs at various venues around the country. Last year's highlight was performing a blasting pre-program for 'Di-rect', whereas an extended interview at the national radio channel 3FM, and a tour through West Africa are just the beginning of another amazing year for A Brighter Day.

A Brighter Day is famous for their incredible on-stage enthusiasm.
