Hi guys, this Blake, the drummer, from About to Be. Let me give you a little background on us. We're a Christian rock/alternative band from Anderson, SC. The lead singer/guitarist(Chris) and I started playing music together about 2 or 3 years ago. We wanted to start a band, but we weren't really serious about it at the time. Then came Zach, who also plays the electric guitar, and we actually started getting into playing together. So this is the band as of right now: Chris McGill-vocals/guitar,Zach Bryant-guitar/background vocals, and me, Blake Shorter-drums. Our first performance was at a little Halloween party in Iva, right outside of Anderson. We've played around a little bit in the studio and recorded our first song, Fragments. It's not a professional recording, the drums aren't the set i'm used to playing, we had to rush through the recording, and just about everything that could go wrong did.
