Okay. So this is how it went down.
In June of 2007, Scott Rodrigues(Guitar), and Robbie Wright(Bassist and lead singer), started an acoustic band, named "A Weekend in a Day". That had band went for a year before they added, Enrique Mendoza(Drums).
After a year or so ,all three of them noticed that they all loved metal, so one day those three were jamming with a good friend of Scott's, Nick Carey(Guitar). While Jamming they all ended up making an instrumental called" I Was Attacked By Ninja's On A Saturday Afternoon". That very night Scott called up, Enrique, Robbie, and Nick. He asked all of them if they wanted to make a metal band. That night, " A Weekend in a Day", was no longer a band, but "A Blissful Dawn" was.
A few days later Scott sent lyrics to Robbie, and he went and put vocals to the instrumental.
Not to long after that Nick and Scott made "Don't Try This At Home". Then they had one big step to take, getting a screamer.
We will not say names, but we went through a few screamers. Then we found the perfect fit.
Back when Scott and Robbie met, Robbie had a friend named Zabe. Zabe had been playing guitar for 4 years. Zabe started Scott on guitar, but one of Zabes friends, Rey Avila could scream very good, but Zabe moved and they didnt see Rey very much.
When "A Blissful Dawn" got there first show, Rey Screamed one song for them. And right away they he knew he was fit.
Rey Avila was the Official Screamer.
After there second show they are going out of town to play in Grandview, Washington at Rocktoberfest.
