"A Billion Ernies, otherwise known as ABE to their few adoring fans, have a legacy of being one of the sweetest bands you never heard of. Constantly changing members and taking a back seat to college, this band is destined for fame and fortune. Their newest release, Dont Call Me Ska, is an epic journey, where the listener is seamlessly pulled from bad ska to somewhat formula HxC. And their sales track record back the greatness of the album, earning three and a half brains on smartpunk.com and being the 2120th most bought cd on interpunk.com in the past 3 weeks! But heck, dont take my word for it, go catch one of their 3-5 live shows they play a year, check out one of the reviews below or buy their album! You probably will regret it, but if you dont, you definitely will not have regretted it!"

Sound-of-rain review, by Hinterhofbubi:

"At first sight the title seems nevertheless somewhat amusingly with a Skaband. Understands does one the title only after n to erem looking on the texts. The ore f len themselves the music style sch t from a Ska scene, which is so entt schend and dearless, that the volume. Those are hard words, and likewise the music comes at first sight r it. Very experimentally and self-willed pr the second Silberling that entiert itself volume, and in order the diamonds to discover, one must be concerned n he with it. Because here only EN emerges after repeated H , and then one does not want to give the album any longer from the hand. Production l st unfortunately again something to w schen rig. However it remains ertr lich, and does the Genalit the album no abort. Respect f volume, not sch the t, the name Jesus in such one described themselves scene to cry out! " (thanks Google translater!)

Skratch Magazine review, by Richie Wu:

"A Billion Ernies, a hardcore/ska band from Hemet, CA, was third on the bill. The majority of the tunes were, well...HARD CORE. I don't know why they were on this bill. Yeah, sure, the band has a horn section and some traces of ska, but none of the tunes had any melody, and the set was not that exciting. However, lead singer Ryan Leavelle did do a good job of bringing the ROCK; but the other members were just not that exciting. The interesting thing about A Billion Ernies is that they are a Christian band. All of their tunes are based around a Christian theme." (WOW!!!)

Absolutepunk.net forum, by Aaron Troy:

"yeah i found my way to these guys from that dashboardska crap that was posted the other day. these guys werent half bad, ska with breakdowns and stuff.. christian band but very talented, i think there's like 9 members." (gee whiz, thanks aaron!)

BedfordEsquires.co.uk review by Martin Stapleton:

"I have to admit wasnt quite sure what to expect after Yankie visitors A Billion Ernies stage managed a mini riot on the conclusion of their first song. Three Ernies carefully orchestrated top moshing which almost ends in complete disaster! A Billion Ernies are a six piece who feature a lovely three piece brass-ska collective which is then dynamically fused with a drummer, vocalist and guitarist who would easily pass as a Nirvana tribute act! This band are the ultimate ska meets grunge combo. A combination makes this band such unlikely bedfellows but believe me, it most certainly works. Playing with fun and enjoyment, it is best epitomised when Front Man Ernie asks the crowd can we come back and play in Bedford next week?. Oh if only, a ridiculous scenario, as very shortly they will be playing in five thousand seat stadiums, but at least the folk of Bedford will remember with affection tonight and the band that is A Billion Ernies." (wow, that one was actually pretty good... ABE hearts the UK!)
