Hi - I'm abbey
Thanks for checking out my site, it's kind of awkward writing about myself, but i'll try anyway. If there's anything i'm leaving out or anything you want to know about me feel free to drop me a line.
For now i'll just ask myself some questions that you might have.
when did i decide that i wanted to play music?
It all started when I went to see Michelle Branch play at the Paradise Rock Club about 4 years ago. After that show i decided that she was the coolest girl i had ever seen, and thats what i wanted to do with the rest of my life. I also noticed (i promise i'm not a creep) that her jeans fit her perfectly and i needed to be a rockstar in order to find jeans that fit right. kidding... a little.
So you caught the show... then what?
After my life changing night at the Paradise the 'rents bought me the purple sparkley guitar i had been drooling over at guitar center. I immediately started writing, and i havent stopped since.
Where do i come up with the ideas for my songs?
Though i'd love to tell you that i'm just that creative, it would be a lie. Basically all my songs are coming from a real place and time in my life. Exactly how i was feeling or what i was going through in that moment. I might look back on some of the songs now and say, wow, thats not how that happened at all, but it's all realy personal.
So now that we're friends let's hang out sometime... how about at my next show... does that work for you? Good! See you there! ;)
