The beauty of Abacus is the diversity that lies within each member of the group around the pivotal focus of aggression. Each individual (as cliche as it sounds) brings their own flair and history to the present tense and the output can be often schizophrenic, but more likely destructive. Influences range from Dillinger Escape Plan, The Mars Volta, Faith No More, Unearth, Pulse Ultra, Lamb Of God and many many more. It can be assured that just one song won't properly represent Abacus and attendance at live transmissions is a must to attain the full effect. Those who have followed Abacus from the beginning know that the complexion quickly deviates into alternative forms of chaos and soon after releasing a 5 song EP on Year Of The Sun Records they are back at it again. The demo'd song Armageddon is a taste of the full length they are currently finishing writing and preparing to record and with a lineup switch half way through the process this will prove to be their most expansive, explosive, and psychotic release to date. The armageddon is just the tip of the nectar.
