2000, I was jealous...my brother Dominick had been the drummer since he could move his arms. I mean, he tought me how to play but I was always second best. I wanted to be more than the back-up or the bongo player...I then vowed to myself I would learn the guitar. That christmas that was exactly what I got...I didn't take it that seriously at first until Dominick was better than me at it by the time he picked it up.
I naturally got mad and started practicing three hours a day...keeping in mind that Dominick only had the capacity for practicing 20 minutes at a time.

Flash forward; 2001. The start of a new band with yours truly on the guitar and Dominick on the drums, the way we decided it should be. With this new band sparked ideas of new things and ideas, out of this Aaron Wagner And The Shotguns was born. This amazing idea of melodic music consisting of piano and guitar swept my mind and I have been working on it ever since.

I have spent some time in between my bands (South of Glory) recording, practicing and shows writing songs and with the songs maturing Aaron Wagner And The Shotguns evolved into Aaron Wagner.

So what is this side project about? Love. Life. God. Beauty. Times when life was unberably hard but I always seemed to pull through. It's about best friends and the feeling you get when you laugh so hard that you cry.
