The Pillow Factory is a project, born in January 2004 from the members of two very different bands: Feedback (Daniele and Matteo) and Mardraum (Davide).
The deep distance between each others background wasnt a problem for them to join toghether, since Davide and Matteo had a common experience in a band with bass player Cisco (now in Vanilla Sky), and for their various musical skills.
During the first months of practicing with passion, they start writing the first songs and ideas, in which came to the surface influences of bands like Yellowcard, Jimmy Eat World and Boy Sets Fire.
Since the beginning they need a second guitar, and when they meet Stefano, they are able to explore new options in writing songs: his style matches perfectly with the old songs and is very inspirational for the new ones.
In this way, a new sound comes to life, developed and grew up in twelve months spent composing and playing the seven songs that make up the first demo of the band, Our Plan To Mars, recorded between May and June 2005 at the Eclipse Studios by Gino De Pasquale.
Their music changes according to the feelings the band wants to express, going from fresh and catchy songs to others, harder and louder: lyrics complete the songs in a personal and energic way.
