Hailing from Anchorage WITNESS THE END is quickly establishing themselves as the most formidable force the Alaskan heavy music scene has ever seen. A five-piece consisting of childhood friendships and craigslist responses WITNESS THE END has created a serious fan base with their brutal 2009 demo There is Hope. This six-song demo has shown that There is Hope for Alaskan metal.
Since the bands beginnings they have won several battle of the band competitions, including being chosen by SHADOWS FALL to play Alaskas largest summer festival Summer Meltdown. While recording their second demo they acquired the help of Brock Lindow from local heroes 36 CRAZYFISTS to do vocals on their song It Only Gets Harder From Here, which has quickly gained popularity through radio stations and YouTube.
The combination of bone-crushing hardcore, Swedish death and metalcore has produced a recipe for success for this Anchorage five-piece. Beginning in June the band will begin touring through Canada and the United States to expand their fan base and show North Amaerica that brutality and melody can be provided by one band.
