Hello, my name is William Pope and I'm gonna play some songs I wrote. I started playing guitar when I was 8 because it was raining and I needed something to do. I started writing songs because my vocal range is so limited I couldn't sing anybody else's. If you're in Milwaukee, you'll see me around town with my tiny little Alvarez guitar that everybody loves. Ask me to play a Hank Williams song! Or ask me about history!
Otherwise, I love Cat Power and aspire to one day reach her level of grace. I even play the same guitar she does - a 1957 Danelectro. How's that for fandom?
