Watson Park is coming up fast in the Cincinnati, Ohio area as an amazing Pop/Rock band. They are made up of four members including Philip Dunn, Brian Renshaw, Scott Singleton, and Nate Staggs.

Singleton and Staggs played in a Northern Kentucky high school band together. Meanwhile, vocalist Philip Dunn was pumping out acoustic solo songs in Lexington until Singleton met Dunn at the University of Kentucky in 2005. But right before their first show, they had some hard times, including their drummer, Nate Staggs, being diagnosed with cancer in November of 2006. Staggs went into recovery and came back stronger than ever.
Brian Renshaw is the newest member of the band taking over for Joey Miles on guitar and backup vocals. He left his old Northern Kentucky band as the lead vocalist and signed on to Watson Park.

Since that time, Watson Park has played several benefit shows for the Leukemia Research Foundation. They have played with bands such as Mayday Parade, The Academy Is..., Thriving Ivory, Quietdrive, and many more. At one show they met the band Ellison, who introduced them to Mitch Wyatt of Sounds Underground Studio where Watson Park recorded their first five-song E.P., Maine to California.

They Have been back in the studio since then and recorded a demo with 3 songs on it. They are scheduled to head back to the studio in May 2010 with new music to share.
