Wraptors - what the hell just happened?

You mix ten dozen influences - a zillion ways to execute and treat 6-strings, 4-strings, harmonics, vocals, snares and cymbals - you mosh that around and filter it all through four devoted record collectors - what do you get? Well, you get damn close to the world of Wraptors.

After 364 days of inspiration and hard work Wraptors debut "Held High" is finalized. You'll either like it - or toss it. Because this is a case of either or. If you like it, you're probably used to spending a lot of time reading rock encyclopedias and you have leather finger tips due to flipping through huge amounts of second hand vinyl collections. If the latter occurs you're probably more interested in being true to genres, labels and trends.
Alright - bad luck for you!

Wraptors from Malmoe, Sweden won't follow any rules.
"Sure they do!" you say.
Yeah... Maybe some. But not on purpose.

"Held High" is out now. Released by Rakamarow Records and distributed through Record Heaven. If you like Rush, Cheap Trick, Frank Zappa, Fugazi and Voivod - and prefer rock that's unpretentious yet somewhat progressive - Wraptors is going to be a blast. When death metal guitarists join forces with an awkwardly tight rock rhythm section the outcome is something completely different.
