Typhon history traces back in the summer of 2007 when Koski decided to form a band in order to play something harsher and more atmospheric from his old band (which played Thrash Metal). He found some bandmates and started playing cover songs from Paradise Lost, Dimmu Borgir, Septic Flesh and Carpathian Forest. After a lot of line-up changes, at February 2008 the band with this line-up (Keresztes on vocals, Ra on lead guitar and vocals, Koski on bass and backing vocals, Panos on rhythm guitar and Ntontοs on drums) decides to play its own material. A little before the recording of the first demo, Panos left the band and Phil took his place on guitar and also Xenia handled keyboards.
