Total Riot was formed back in late 2004 by Agis Papadopoulos and Alex Randan. A year later Philip Papadopoulos joined in to take care of the bass duties. Not long after the formation of the band they start writing their own material based on groovy low-tuned guitar riffs, thrashing tribal drumming and outbursting vocals with a clear influence from bands like Soulfy and Sepultura. Around 2006 they recorded a four track demo at Fotis' Benardo (Nightrage, Septic Flesh, Devilworx) personal studio. The demo was clearly recorded for promotional purposes only and to always follow and check the band's progress throw the years. End of 2008 they decided to take the band a step further and add two more members, Pavlos Synodinos to play the lead guitars and Romnick Palo to play the congas and percussion. They thought that the band already had the tribal sound, so by adding two more elements they surely achieved more of the sound they were looking for from the early beginning and the ability to perform their songs live with all the lead parts written in the studio. Following a more tribal, groovy and melodic path hopefully Total Riot brings something different and unusual to the underground music scene. Currently we are working on new, different material using and experimenting with different sorts of ethnic instruments. Having done few but very successful shows we hope to share our vibes with you soon, with all the power and inspiration Total Riot has. Give us support and come to catch us up on live gigs!!!
