Thracian formed in September of 2006 with only a drummer, a guitarist and a vocalist. We spent the months writing material, while also on the search for another guitarist and a bassist. We went through a few guitarists until Dan Rivera came into the picture. After a long and grueling search for a permanent bass player, Vinnie Beere became Thracian's official bass player. We want to thank Joe Gardella very much for the help he provided for us during past shows.
In the month of October 2009, Thracian went into Full Force Studios in Port Jefferson, NY to record their long awaited EP entitled Blight. What came out of those recording sessions was pure aggressive melodic thrash masterpieces which laid the ground work of whats to come from Thracian in the near future.
