Thoughts in Frame was an alternative rock/post-hardcore band from Claremont, CA during 2009.

Thoughts in Frame was formed in January 2009 by former Silence Breaks vocalist/guitarist Sam Mountain, former Mok Shu drummmer Mike Eichstedt, bassist Josh Hodges & former Voices & Sleepers guitarist Nikola Simikic. The group recorded and released their debut EP "A Shade of Grey in Blue" in April of 2009. After the release of the EP, Thoughts in Frame played various shows, including a show opening for LoveHateHero.

During August of 2009, Thoughts in Frame went through various lineup changes. The group first parted ways with drummer Mike Eichstedt and bassist Josh Hodges. Two members of the Claremont band An Orchestra Cinematic, drummer Mike Vacio and bassist Michael Capuano would then join the group. Vacio had played drums with Mountain in Silence Breaks, while Capuano had also played with Vacio in Wings of a Fallen Romance and was the former vocalist of The Moreau Project. Former Voices & Sleepers guitarist Storm Santos was also added to the lineup, but would leave in October of 2009.

In November of 2009, the new lineup recorded and released a brand new single entitled "The Death of Us".

Shortly after releasing "The Death of Us", Capuano and Simikic both decided to leave the band. After two months of inactivity, Thoughts in Frame announced they would be taking an indefinate hiatus.
