"Hailing from the Pelham Bay area of the Bronx, The Bay takes much pride in their neighborhood and their local scene; hence the band name. "We grew up here, all our friends are here, all our stories and memories are here, all the good, all the bad, we just thought the name clicked perfectly with us as a band", proclaims guitarist James Trapani. The Bay consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Adil Tahir, guitarist James Trapani, bassist LJ Mussano, and drummer Ryan Conolly. With melodic guitar riffs, powerful drum lines, and catchy hooks, The Bay seems to have the formula for success. “We write songs that remind us of the old pop punk we grew up on. The songs that get stuck in your head and you cant help singing along withâ€, states front man Adil Tahir. The Bay's debut EP entitled "Un-mastered" is set to be released mid November. It’s a pop punk record injected with some power pop and hardcore backbone. The bay has taken their love for pop punk bands like Blink 182, Angels and airwaves, Plus 44, and New found glory and paired them with their admiration for the harder side of music such as Four year strong, a day to remember, and Vanna to come up with the fresh sound this scene has been missing.
