Theatre was an experimental hardcore outfit formed in the lower suburbs of Somerset West in 2008. They bring genre-smashing music to the foreground that is both unique in construction and chaotic in design, which is brought forth by means of a notably destructive yet emotive performance, with live shows that truly defy the norm.

"After three long years of playing shows and spreading the love, we have mutually decided to finally let Theatre find its rest. We have had the most amazing times jamming together and moments we will never forget, but the time has come where each of us have to be pursue our own road, be it family, work, or studies. We are all not done with music and plan to pursue other avenues musically in the future. We would like to thank everyone who has been a part of this band, those who have supported us through all seasons, and we hope that we have been able to inspire, change and share our love for God and music with you all.
