Members: [Vocals] Jason Davies, [Guitar] Raymond Leet, [Guitar] Dan Goguen, [Bass] Cory Balliet, [Percussion] Jeff Miller
The Weekday Escape formed from a group of local musicians from the 607 in Upstate New York. Jason Davies and Cory Balliet (formerly of The Closing Statement) were forced to create a new band after the departure of their guitarist and drummer.
When hope seemed to evade them, it was Raymond Leet, original guitarist of The Closing Statement (Spiedie-Fest 2011 Battle of the Bands Winner), that returned to provide a new sound for the band. Dan Goguen and Jeff Miller joined the band after their project, This City In Gold, went separate ways. This provided a whole sound with big plans.
