JDub,"The Off The Wall Crawler"(Jermaine Whitaker),creater of the EXMENN MC's and Founder Of Mama Mystique was born on June 14th to mother Grocella Rice and father James A Whitaker at Bronx Lebanone.At the age of five(5)JDub,mother,father and his 2 older brothers moved to Central Islip Long Island N.Y and that is when his musical talents began.JDub is no stranger to music,while still in his youth at an early age JDub interred a talent show in Hempstead Long Island which landed him a record deal on an Indie/Major label,(Universal Sound Productions).In 1988,JDub’s label launches the single titled,(Smoothe) under the name,(P.D.A in Effect),which is now an old School classic.In 1991,JDub’s career was put on hold due to the lose of his older brother,who was an inspiration to his career,and in 1992 another catastrophe takes place when he looses his other brother which put a major set back to his career.In 1995 JDub decided to get back into the studio and began working on some material and by late 1995 JDub signs on to another Label (BreakADawn) while featuring on other projects with the EXmen MC's"Life Aint Nothing But A Dream" and Q-Ball and Curt Cazal on the B-Side of the "My Kinda Moves single"(War Out Here).In 1996 BreakADawn record's/VP Music Group launches the single,"Red Light,Green light 123" and "Swinging Thru Ya Town" and In late 1996,JDub features on Barris Hammonds(Sweet Lies)the remix for V.P Records which was never released.In the yr 2000,JDub decided to launch his own independent label"J Double U Music"(JDUM).
