Colliding late nineties alternative into modern mainstream piano rock, The Mainland out of Sacramento, CA are attempting to leave a footprint in the, significantly different, music world that surrounds them. After releasing their Debut EP, The Mainland, instantly began recieving buzz in press around the nation some saying "Last Call is one of those EP's you dont want to miss.."-SKONLINE Magazine and "(the mainland) are primed for mainstream airplay..."
After a half of year of gigging in Northern Californias biggest venues, The Mainland, hit the road on their first tour hitting the entire west coast and sharing stages with bands like Unwritten Law, Dishwalla, The Ataris and The Higher in July of 2009. Now after the release of their new single "Breaking Down" The Mainland has begun preproduction on a new "Untitled Album" set to hit the racks in late 2010, and there are talks of a UK tour in the works.
