The Lyrics Game is a 5-piece rock band from Long Beach providing a unique blend of guitar, bass, drums, cello, and an amazing female lead singer. Often drawing comparisons to Debbie Harry, The Lyrics Game has a sound akin to Zeppelin forcing itself onto Rilo Kiley while blasting Bach out of a car stereo. Forming in 2007, the band has had great success in clubs throughout Southern California. Pairing hook-laden songwriting with an energetic live show, they are an act not to be missed.
With the release of their debut EP, Home Edition, in 2009; they have become a nationally available artist. Recorded in less than a week, Home Edition showcases the talents of these five individuals as both musicians and songwriters.
