"it goes without saying, this is great music to listen to in the wee hours. Full of youthful energy and swagger, The LateShift come on strong from the sensitive "Good Boy Calling" to the rocked up, riff-driven "A Park, A Friend, A Fear, A Beer" and the group sure has a knack for melody" -David Malachowski ( Times Union)

"Their debut isn't out yet, but Albany indie outfit The LateShift is getting me excited for its release. "Good Boy Calling" is a jazzy, John Mayer style track, if John Mayer would stop it with the whiny-ass attitude and wrote an upbeat, soulful song. The verses are quick and snappy, the acoustic guitar is vibrant, and the vocals are high-flying. The bass groove and percussion-filled bridge leading in to the last chorus is just another notch in the band's belt.
Follow-up "Streetlight Hero" is another jam, with softer-vocals but just as much heart as its predecessor. With everything The LateShift is doing right, their "Feet on the Street", due out in late November, can't come soon enough. Get stoked for it.
