Benjamin Tubbs and Jamie Glisson played music together for well over a decade prior to parting ways in 2004. After a break that included some European and SE Asia travel for Jamie, they decided to reconvene in the fall of 2007 to begin writing again. What transpired was a catalogue of emotion driven, melancholic songs that represented two convergent lives. The early TIATA songs caught the ear of drummer, Nick Irvine, who played with the likes of Anorexic Beauty Queen (Aux Records) and he, along with Mike Bilinski on bass, joined the band in early 2008 just prior to being signed to hometown label Aux. With the lineup completed, what has emerged is a sound that conveys the passionate search for truth paired with the melodies of a bygone era. The debut album Propaganda was recorded with Josh Coy (Long Since Forgotten) and released by Aux Records.
