THE HOLIDAY

Rock / Indie / Pop

In 2006 three young musicians in Indianapolis sought an artistic outlet for their music. While having no success finding bands to join that were satisfying to their individual musical appetites, they eventually found themselves assembling what was called Red Letter Reason. Locally, there were very few bands of like kind they could share the stage with. Red Letter Reason soon found they were one of a few bands that have sparked what is now a growing indie pop rock scene. In 2008 they changed their name to The Holiday. Already the band has shared the stage with the likes of Avenged Sevenfold, Atreyu, and Bullet for my Valentine in a 2008 Battle of the Bands Midwest victory. Locally the band has shared the stage with acts such as Wavorly, Spoken, and Gwen Stacy. The Holiday?s EP was produced by Nashville Producer Travis Palmer and released on redwallMUSIC in April of 2008.

Where everything crumbles in heaps of despair , where everything is beyond repair . Only songs can recapture the hope that all of us seek so that we wont be looked down upon and be labelled as weak.
