The Glass Gods came together in the autumn of 2008 as the culmination of a number of previous projects. Three original (and current) members of the band Rob Bryan, Jack Downing and John Egginton brought together their influences ranging from classic rock to metal to create The Glass Gods sound.
After a number of months grafting in our studio and drafting in Lead vocalist Danielle McKoy and drummer Cory Mangan, the band embarked on a number of gigs in 2009 around the local circuit, playing venues such as the Actress & Bishop, Bar Academy and the Roadhouse alongside some fantastic local bands.
After a very positive response to our sound and a string of gigs the band sadly parted ways with drummer Cory Mangan and then later, Danielle McKoy who are now both pursuing their own interests outside of the band.
2010 turned over a new leaf for the band, bringing multi-armed genius Si Ng on board as drummer. Things are going stronger than ever for the band bringing about a sound that is harder and edgier than ever. Our latest recruit is Holly Bolus on lead vocals. With a voice that can kick your ass, the H-Bomb is certainly the missing link in helping the new Glass Gods sound reach your ears.
