New York rock band The Day Was Mine has been creating powerful scene music since 1999. Led by composer Dylan Storm Wilcox, the band has developed a distinct musical style. A few artists who have influenced The Day Was Mine's music include Green Day, The Starting Line, Story of The Year and Bob Marley.

Lead guitarist, Dylan Storm, 20, captivates audiences with his magnetic energy. Dylan is thought to be the youngest performer ever on stage at cbgb's . He has played Warped tour, Skate and Surf Fest and MTV's Parkfest and has opened for The Used, My Chemical Romance, Story of The Year, Thrice and many more. Dylan also had a major record deal and has been animated on a famous cartoon as himself. Musically multi-talented, Dylan connects with drummer Matt McEvoy. Matt, 18, has the beat of a seasoned pro. He has natural rhythm that isn't duplicated by many.

Urban Disaster Records has recently released The Day Was Mine's new full length CD "Between Dreams and Waking". Dylan produced, sang vocals, played bass, rhythm and lead guitar on the record. The Day Was Mine is currently back in the studio working on their next record.
