Experimenting back in 1992 with a unique blend of hip-hop, R&B and pop. TLC created a sound that eventually stamped a new era in music and paving the way for many, many artist out today. The trio charted four Billboard Top 10 hits off their debut album, Ooooooohhh...on the TLC tip. Late 1994, TLC received their first No. 1 smash, Creep and also helped fade-out the CrazySexyCool era with their biggest single ever, Waterfalls in the summer of 1995. Spending 7 weeks @ No. 1. Making it one of the most successful songs by a female group. Early 1999 TLC proved they still had reign. Topping the charts for the third time with No Scrubs and later that summer for the fourth and last time with Unpretty. They once again proved they were the biggest group of the '90s. Becoming "The best-selling female group of all time" by 2000, sold over 45 million albums world-wide, four No. 1 hits, numerous top 10 hits, 3 multi-platinum albums and one diamond album, and multiple awards through their 10 year plus career including 4 Grammys. But what defines TLC are their personalities and a sound that we'll never forget. The crazysexycool trio isn't like any other group who can replace a member and call it a day. The chemistry they have amongst the three is indisputable. 2002, the groups future was put in jeopardy. Lisa Nicole Lopes better known as Left Eye life was cut short at the tender age of 31. T-boz & Chilli released the posthumous funky style album 3D, November 2002. It contained the heart-felt tribute Turntable.
