Formed in 2006 by Tha Archivez (Lyricist) and DJ Monte Carlo (Producer/DJ), this San Francisco Bay Area, California based Hip-Hop group known as THA GLITCH is easily summed up as a unique combination of sexy soul smoothness, 70's jazz noir, future tech inventiveness, mixed with a whole lot of classic hip-hop style.

Tha Glitch's innovatively quirky music style originates from the enigmatic Monte Carlo (aka Monte Carlo, DJ), a professional multi-instrument musician for over 20 years that has a background playing in a wide range of genres including heavy metal, jazz, and electronica.

Tha Archivez (KENE-J) is the North Dallas, Texas born - East Oakland, California raised Hip Hop impressio has been performing in the Bay Area underground Rap scene for a decade. With a singe from his very 1st release called, "Rock Like Me" placed on KMEL's " Pump it or Dump it" show in June 1993. The original line-up of Tha Archivez and Monte Carlo released an EP entitled "Computer Error" in 2008, and an full length release entitled "…A Galaxy Near You" before Tha Archivez exited the group in 2009.

Currently THA GLITCH consists of a rotating collaborative line up of MC's and beatmakers including Mony Hall, Mo-P, Nerd Nate, Jye-I: Tha Cali Kidd, Joe Conscious, El Sin, and SHINOBI 009, anchored by the remaining original member DJ Monte Carlo.
