Spreading Miasma is a modern Technical Death Metal band from Giessen (Germany), who plays a characteristic style consisting of fast, brute and partly melodic guitars and driving drums blended by distinctive vocals and a grooving fretless bass, without being a copy of their idols. In summer 2010 two demo songs were recorded in the Katana Empire Studio and since their first show in September 2010 the band made their mark as an excellent live band. The production of a new record is taking place since early spring 2012 and soon the shooting of their first music video will be finished. In summer 2012 the band will have their first appearances on the stages of open air festivals.

History:

Spreading Miasma was established in fall 2009 by singer Henning, drummer Michael and guitarist Michael. In May 2010 guitarist Oliver joined the band and since January 2011 the vacant place at the bass-guitar is taken by Daniel.
The band members already gained experience in different bands or projects. Singer Henning was involved in several bands, Michael also plays drums for 'Slaughterfest'. Oliver is partly also devotet to other projects and Daniel was the singer and bass-player of the band 'RapeEul'.
