At just eighteen years old, Spard members Ned Singh and Ryan Kennedy have self-recorded and produced their debut album while continuing their Undergraduate studies. With humble beginnings, the two rockers from Oakland, New Jersey have entered the scene with more than just a strong will to be heard, but rather a desire to share a story with their first concept album for the Spard project. This Rock Opera thrusts the listener back into a world of Knights and Sorcery. Following the quest of the facially maimed Drummer Daiferieu, The Loudest Whisper narrates a fantasy where a man with no mouth searches for the one thing he can never have; a kiss. Ignoring the warnings of his brother Spard, Captain of the king’s elite squadron of knights, Drummer leaves his post as the drummer boy for the battalion in search of a way to restore his face so that he may obtain lips and profess his love to the angelic Princess Jubilee Anne. This album is a collaborative effort blending together several different styles and genres to tell this dynamic, emotional story. Spard would like to thank their families, friends, and all those featured on this album.
