Within the vast universe is a band from Chicago, IL with multiple influences from metal, classical, and new age elements. Their sound includes ethereal vocals, a blend of aggressive guitars and thundering bass overlaid with melodic keyboards, violin, and various samplings that are all supported by a solid rhythmic foundation.
The concept of the band's name is another name for the sun; that a celestial body with so much light and energy can exist within the vast darkness of space is intriguing, dark, and mysterious, much like the band's sound and entwined within the meaning behind the songs’ prolific lyrics.
