Sonically versitile, having played in nearly all styles and generes of bands, starting out as a bass player for rock and southern gospel bands as a teenager, then moved to FL to attend Full Sail where he aquired his recording arts degree. He returned to VA to start The Abductees a prog/rock original band in Blacksburg. After that band dissolved, he then moved to Charlotte NC, performing solo, and also played guitar with funk/rap rock band The Funk. He was drawn into The Next Bad Thing, where a couple of the members and he started Innerbound. After Innerbound, he and Elizabeth Owolabi met and have started Barbed Serotonin, in an americana pop rock style. He also continues to return to VA and work under the name Guardpin the Liquorsink, which is essentially a collection of musicians that have their own projects but like to get together and do something out of the box.
He has recently started attending Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC, with the goal of aquiring a music degree.
