My name is Xiao. And I'm the person behind this solo project: Simply Xiao.

I set foot in the USA from Philippines spring of 2007; then I isolated myself for a whole year to make music for 3 main reasons: personal mission, self redemption and solace. At that moment, the new Simply Xiao was born.

I started as an acoustic guy then became punk rock solo artist in the past couple of years, right now; my music has evolved into a one-manned sonic orchestra.

Metaphorically, my music is like the night sky, it's vast and wide, mysterious yet beautiful, dark yet bright, haunting yet magical, and majestic yet humble. A glance with a naked eye exposes solace, but if you look deeper with a telescope, and there's a deeper story.

My music is like a divine landscape that stimulates the ears; it's a mixture of heavy melancholic ambience yet still sweet in the heart. It's a music meant not to amuse but rather to move and influence the soul of the listener. So I do hope I'll inspire people with my ideological message from my heart: tolerance, peace and love.

Everything your hear right now was made in my space station (DIVIE STUDIO). I arrange and produce, record, mix, and master my own music.

Despite being time constricted, having financial and personal issues to deal with, having a lot of set backs, having some rejections and discouragements from other bands, I'm glad I was still able to make it happen. I'm finally releasing my EP.
