A group of four from a relatively small city known as Chillicothe, Ohio, got together to start a band. They knew they wanted to create something new, something unrelenting, something that would leave people speechless. Speechless isnt exactly the result they got when they released their 2009 demo, recorded with Jamie King (Between the Buried and Me, Through the Eyes of the Dead) in North Carolina at The Basement. People talked. The word spread like wildfire around the surrounding states. So what do you get when you combine technical death metal, thrash, progressive, and jazz/ambiance? A band that will surpass all the cliches, all the fads, and stand the test of time: a band known as Shall Be The Conqueror. In January and February of 2010, Shall Be the Conqueror will be back in North Carolina recording their first full length album "The Healing".
