With every musician comes a story. This is no different. I do not write the music I write to be the best guitar player, to be the fastest thrasher or the heaviest of the heavy metalers. I write to be the best musician I can be and to express the emotions I feel when I write these songs. Because one time I listened to music and it took me places that I've never been before, and made me feel things that I have never experienced before in my life. And ever since that moment, music has captivated me and brought me more hope, more pain, more love than anything has ever. Music for me expresses the things words could never say. Its gives everything a new level of understanding. My career started out as trying to conquer the Mid-Michigan music scene and eventually the world. And what that mentality ended up giving me was a bunch of failed attempts and brought my focus out of what was really important, which was not the success of my music, but the music itself. Im not doing this for chicks, for money, or for anything superficial. I play and write to feel. And to give all others who feel as i do a home within music. A place to go and let go of that anger, and place to cry, a place to love, a place to be there own, and I truly hope this does these things for everyone who listens, as I found my home when I heard the music that took me from reality all those years ago.
