Sallydidit! is a European powerpop/rock/alternative band.
This band is composed by two members: Patricia A. Mendes Ramos (Mandy Ramos) and Inés A. Pérez-Zubizarreta Lopez (Nessy Lopez).
Born in Spain, live in Portugal, sing in english.

THE SHORT HISTORY


The sisters Nessy and Serena Lopez had to move to Lisbon, Portugal in 2008.
Mandy Ramos moved to Lisbon in 2004.
They met in 2008 at the Instituto Español de Lisboa, ''Giner de Los Rios'' (Spanish High School of Lisbon, ''Giner de los Rios'') and three months later they decided to make a band because they realized that they had the same dream and passion.

Sallydidit! started in 2008 with the name of ''BlueSky''. It was a band with five members, all girls: Mandy Ramos (guitarrist and singer), Nessy Lopez (guitarrist and singer), Serena Lopez (drummer and backup singer), Brandy Almeida (backup singer) and Sara Ramos (backup singer).
Months later Sara Ramos left the band and another month later Brandy Almeida were kicked out because of her lack of work and talent. Their name changed to ''Golden Cherries'' but they were not sure about it, they didn't like the name so Mandy created a pretty long list with lots of names with things they like and Nessy picked 'Sally did it'.
On April 2010 Serena left the band because she didn't share the same interest in music.
Now Mandy and Nessy are working so hard to make their dream come true and on September 2011 they're moving to Massachusetts.

THE NAME

To create the name of the band, Mandy had to think about a movie that they all like and their favorite charcter so she thought about Tim Burton's "Nightmare Before Christmas" and took the name of Jack Skellington's crush, Sally.

WORK

Past:
Sallydidit! starred a short movie called "Bloody Mary, La Leyenda" with:
Nessy Lopez as Sabrina
Serena Lopez as Melinda
Mandy Ramos as Mandy
Marjana Bouazza as Mary/Bloody Mary/Friend
Brandy Almeida as Killer/Mary's mother

Mandy Ramos had a comedy show on youtube (name of the channel: MandyLovesGibson) called "The Mandy Show". She describes it like "random and stupid but funny and crazy".
Mandy also starred another little comedy show called "Las chorradas de LiLa&Mandy" where she and her cousin (Lila Ramos) make short sketches about stupid things created by Mandy or they just make fun of funny things in series of Disney Channel like "The check it out girls" of Sonny With a Chance (Atention: they make fun of it because they like it).

Now:
Sallydidit! is working on a vlog for youtube called "Our way to the Beginning" where they talk about themselves without any secret because they want you to know them better!

ABOUT THE MEMBERS


Mandy Ramos (July the 22nd, 1993) was born in Madrid, Spain. Lead singer and lead guitarrist. She started to sing when she was two years old! She started to play the guitar (teaching herself) in 2008.

Nessy Lopez ( May the 15th, 1992) was born in Merida, Spain. Lead singer and guitarrist. Since she was so young she started to chase her dream of becomming a great and successfull singer (just like Mandy's dreams).
Her guitar lessons started in 2008.
