Sailship is a one-man electronica outfit fronted by 23-year-old multi-instrumentalist/songwriter Mark Swickley of Saint Paul, Minnesota. Released on August 3rd, 2010, Sailship's debut full-length "The Giant Leaps" brings a more more melodic, lush, and organic breed of electronica to the table, while still maintaining the upbeat synthetic elements for which the genre is known. For fans of Owl City, Copeland, and Lights, "The Giant Leaps" trades out synthesizers for pianos, guitars and bells to present ten songs of affecting, lyrically-innovative storytelling.
