ABOUT US :
In early July of 2009 in east Java, precisely in Surabaya, the band formed from a group of children who attend high schools located in surabaya named SARCOPHAGUST. Our sarcophagust name taken from a history book. Sarcophagust has the meaning of the grave stone during antiquity.
We formed this band because the match between each of the personnel who have a match in terms of the same vision and mission, namely to promote indie music in surabaya and we were inspired by the band's five foreign countries, which have a flow of death metal, other than that we aim to form a band This is because we had the five wanted to channel our interests and talents in music.
The formation of this band originated from a group of youths named Sayid, reyhan, Sahat, Fauzan, and ahmad who want to distribute their music interests, especially in metal music, the band was formed in mid-July of 2009.
The lyrics of our songs of them talked about the phenomenon of a greedy man, the phenomenon of social reality, and anti with those who spitefully declares with her own kind. Although we have a satirical lyrics, but music is art. A masterpiece of art is priceless and our right to express the music that we carry.
