We are Running Late, an eclectic band which fuses rock, funk
and alternative music together that gets you moving in your seat. A few years ago, three of us toyed with the idea of forming a band. We started out by playing cover songs at back yard parties. When our bassist and Cello player teamed up with the rest of us, Running Late was formed. We decided to take a more serious approach to our music two years ago and began writing original songs. We have worked hard through the obstacles presented to each of us, not the least of which being we all attend college at different schools.

These past few years have been a huge surprise for all of us. We have played with Blondie, Collective Soul, Neon Trees, Nicole Atkins, Steve Conti, Paul Rodgers, and Toad the Wet Sprocket. We have rocked crowds at venues which include Starland Ballroom, The Stone Pony, and The Knitting Factory while headlining frequently everywhere else. We take pride in creating a sound that is truly something special and are often regarded as the most original band in the NJ underground scene.
