Members: Aaron Giese
Rock Legend Aaron Giese is an up and coming christian rock solo artist from Dayton, Minnesota, a suburb of Minneapolis. His music has been described as a mix between Thrice, and Mae, with some influences coming from Johnnyrook (local minneapolis band), and Copeland.
Some of his influences include: Fall Out Boy, Daphne Loves Derby, Taking Back Sunday's "Louder Now" album, Emery, Copeland, Thrice, Johnnyrook, Mae, Relient K, and Acceptance.
" My goal is to write songs that are catchy, and have lyrics that stand out and have strong concepts. I want my songs to make people feel what they are about, and I want them to be fun and memorable." says Aaron, " Although, thats easier said than done."
So far, Rock Legend Aaron Giese has released 4 songs and a music video exclusively on the internet. He also wrote and produced a theme song for the show "Blakes House", that was used on the first 5 episodes.
Rock Legend Aaron Giese is currently working on writing, and producing a full length album with the help of Jesse Weber (The Phoenix Philosophy). He plans on releasing the album either in the summer or fall of 2010 accompanying a series of regional tours.
Rock Legend Aaron Giese is also a producer, and enjoys working with other bands. He is currently learning more about promoting, and other aspects of the music business with hopes to one day use his talent and experiences to start a record label to help other bands and solo artists.
"Playing live shows is fun, but I'm fascinated by the recording process as well as the business side of things. I think when I eventually have a family, I won't want to have to go on tour all the time." says Aaron.
In the past, he has played guitar in several rock bands ranging from alternative, to death metal. He has also worked on some electronic music as well as a joke rap group where he produced the music and was one of the rappers. He has been a stage hand on a variety or productions and shows. He has done live sound on several occasions. And most recently, was a co producer of "Blake's House" for the first 5 episodes.
