Like an Avatar, Rest In Disgrace has descent upon Earth in the year of 2007, promptly enshining two mortal souls: Joao Pacha (guitar) E Marcio Quirino (bass), whose forces, going on the same direction, involve both Evil and Goodness, the beautiful things and the ugly ones as well, misery in mundane life and bliss coming from The Divine. All of it being enlaced by delicate, fine, yet sometimes aggressive thoughts and poetic imagery, mostly arising from pessimistic Philosophy, also eastern traditions and mythologies, such as Buddhism, Hinduism. So the overflowing sadness felt in their lyrics and melodies are always accompained by density and power, in a consistent, solid, finished artwork.
As an artistic result in its music, the band brings up a fusion of human and inhuman elements merging from inner and outer nature: i.e. from the most intimate feelings and thoughs of our souls, to the great hidden cosmic energies of the universe. Which should be the truth and the credit they expect to enshine before their audience.
Born of these symbols and values, the EP entitled - As Beauty Springs from Mud... - (2009) features 7 epic, dark, heavy, intense tracks to give a sample of the mature musicality and sensitivity contained therein.
Most Sincere Greetings From All Our Hearts And Mortally Sickened Spirits...
NAMASTE !
