Rise of Serapis is a five piece metal band from rural northern California. They broke out onto the digital metal scene in 2010 with the release of their four song demo. It featured a fairly wide selection of music across the Metal genre from Metalcore oriented songs to Death Metal and Deathcore. Due to the overwhelming positive response to the band's crushing style featured in the songs "Mind of Mutilation" and "Shredded Face Shattered Bones", and the progress of the bands writing and musicianship, they naturally gravitated towards the growing Death Metal scene.

In a world overflowing with stagnant bands and others progressing their music past the point of being relative, Rise of Serapis has just the right mix of refreshing riffs in the modern death metal universe while staying rooted in the old school influences from their established predecessors. We are living in a time in which people are hungry for something new to stomach while they still hang onto the things they know. The band is writing a record that offers a perfect balance of the old and new giving a satisfying and comforting listening experience for those who crave a new and true crushing brutal death metal band.
