RIGHT EIGHTYEIGHT

Metal / Punk / Hardcore

Since they muscled their way onto the punk-hardcore-metal scene in 2004,
a previously Right Eightyeight genre is Melodic since 1998.
In a world ruled increasingly by superstition and intolerance,
Right Eightyeight rousing wall-of-sound punk-hardcore-metal seems about
as necessary now as ever before.

Embracing new styles of singing and playing,
the band explores dynamics with a soft, atmospheric passage that builds into a horrific scream and another pummeling groove.
Right Eightyeight have created an exultant disc that expands the parameters
of heavy music and unabashedly exposes the band members’
love of ‘80s metal,melodic, thrash,punk, industrial, hardcore,
alternative and even alt-country.

At the same time, Right Eightyeight have written some of the heaviest, most brutal tracks of their career “Million Hand” starts with the sound
of Strung Out, mid-song Bad Religion rhythm and a soft‘80s metal, Pantera ending rhythm, then breaks into a marching snare beat
before bursting into a melodic mix of raging vocals, abrupt rhythmic
shifts and a trademark Right Eightyeight monster hook refrain It is
the impassioned sound of reason, anthems of a bittersweet idealism and
a guarded hope set to propulsive guitars and charging drumbeats.

Right Eightyeight is currently surging forward with a renewed
creative intensity. their audiences with charged music and acrobatic
performances that both have pushed the boundaries of catharsis and emotional exorcism. But even those who have grown used to the unexpected from
Right Eightyeight will be blown away by the musical growth, Our first album,
entitled "Refleksi Diri",kicks off with a monster guitar groove and stomping
beat before shifting into a turbo-charged chorus.

A nod to the band's defiant past and an undeniable step forward in the
evolution of a genre they helped to define.
While many of the view songs are as brutally fast and unflinchingly heartfelt
as anything the band has done before,
the record is also filled with unexpected sounds.
