Quickly capitalizing on their initial success, the band headed to the recording studio last fall to cut their first record. As for the rest of the band - Andy Root, Postina's guitarist/backing vocalist/songwriter brings deep emotion to Postina's music with his compelling lyrics and well-crafted guitar parts, Dave Donovan plays the drums with an unmistakable finesse and brilliance that brings intensity to the music and in 2010 Postina welcomed their newest member, Dylan Randolph's electronica synth style and memorable counter melodies complement the Postina alterna-pop-rock sound.

Postina's debut EP, The Road, was released in March 2010. The Road is a collection of six original songs, each a story inspired by personal struggle or triumph. Postina's music conveys deep emotion and the band's determination to experience the fullness of life.

Postina's sophomore EP, Nero, was released in October of 2011. Nero exemplifies the further musical development of the quintet's signature female vocal, electronic, alterna-pop-rock sound. Postina has performed at The 7th St Entry, The Fine Line Music Cafe, The Cabooze, Turf Club, 400 Bar, Whiskey Junction, Lake Harriet Bandshell, Club Underground, O'Gara's, Uptown Bar, Suburban World Theater, Plaza Palooza music festival, The Twin Cities Film Fest fundraiser at West End and recently at the RAW Minneapolis Showcase.
